REACHOUT PARTNERS NGO PANMCI FOR FREE CATARACT AND HERNIA SURGERY PROJECT IN UPPER EAST REGION OF GHANA

ReachOut World Mission (ROWM) is a Christian charity foundation contributing to achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’S) 1, 2, 3, 4 and 8.
In partnership with Pentecost Aid Mission from Cote D’ivoire whose mission is to help and impact economically weak or needy populations through medical missions (SDG 3), ROWM will be organizing a community Medical Outreach coming March 2018 to provide free surgical operations curing Hernia and Cataract among affected children and adults in the Upper East Region.

Coming to the aid of economically weak families who are unable to afford such procedures, the project will provide free surgical operations for Cataract and Hernia disease and free medical screening and medication, giving out eye glasses as well. Supporting partners include Lotus Opticals, Bolgatanga Regional

Hospital, AIESEC and Jessie Dadzie Foundation for sickle cell Awareness and Doctors in the Gap, Ghana.
Dr. Rev. Divine Messi King Founder and CEO of NGO PANCI was born in the Eastern Region of Ghana, runs a surgical hospital in Adjame Bingerville – Cote D’voire and has worked not only on Congenital Malformations but has partnered great organizations including Graft Foundation among others to bring liberation to many affected individuals globally.
Speaking to CEO of ReachOut World Mission, Ms. Priscilla Naa Aklerh Okantey said “the project is a modification of the annual charity breakfast and will also include educational support to selected rural community schools, donations of clothing and food to beneficiaries” She called for partnerships and support from organizations and individuals working towards the same SDG’s and opened up registration for volunteers as well.


Cataracts are the cause of half of blindness and 33% of visual impairment worldwide. Coming in a different number of types the most common hernias are abdominal associated with swellings and massive pain causing 59,800 deaths globally in 2015.
Contributing to the sustainable health and well-being of Ghanaian citizens as part of one of its focus, ROWM has run medical outreach projects over the past years supporting over 1,600 individuals in Akwamufie in the Eastern Region and Pong-Tamale in the Northern Region.
